I have always had a love of both nature and photography. Photographing nature is the ultimate way to share the thrill of the adventure. There is something truly magical about being able to capture a moment in time in a way that no one will ever see it again and then share it with the world. While I have always loved both activities I looked at them as hobbies and spent nearly three decades passionate about managing hotels in urban environments. I had always dreamed of taking a road trip across the United States and decided to take a sabbatical and make that dream a reality. So, in the fall of 2016 I set out in my Honda CRV with my trusty tent and my camera and a plan to wander my way across the US while visiting and camping in the National Parks (state parks were also awesome!) My wonderfully supportive husband only looked at me like I was crazy for a few seconds before saying- "go for it". Having spent 6 weeks experiencing the awe inspiring landscapes and breathtaking views I made a decision that after raising three wonderful children and a great career that it was time to choose a new path. My husband and I sold our house in Atlanta and relocated to central Texas where I founded Wishing Bloom Studio and continue to work today towards capturing those moments in time to share with you!
